Bomb Disposal Team
The Martin County Sheriff’s Bomb Disposal Team is comprised of highly trained hazardous devices technicians, also known as bomb technicians.
The primary mission of the Dive Team is underwater evidence recovery and crime scene processing.
Hostage Negotiations Team
This team of Sheriff's deputies are highly trained in verbal skills and negotiating to handle any call outs where hostages or other incidents may be involved.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit was established in the 1980s and has since been a leader in the law enforcement field, setting the standards for police departments and sheriff’s offices throughout the state and region.
The Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit is the primary water-borne law enforcement agency in Martin County.
Rapid Response Team
The Rapid Response Team consists of members whose directive is to respond in states of emergency both locally and through deployed operations in other parts of the state and/or nation.
