Captain Immordino started as a deputy within the Uniform Road Patrol Division and was later selected to become a detective within the Criminal Investigations Division. During his tenure as a detective, he was assigned to the Economic Crimes Unit and then the Special Victims Unit where he also obtained training in computer forensics. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal in the Uniform Patrol division where he was responsible for training new deputies. 

Captain Immordino was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and held that position in both Uniform Road Patrol and Criminal Investigations before being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. After many years of investigative experience, he was chosen to oversee the Professional Standards Section which includes both Internal affairs and Accreditation. In 2023, he was promoted to the rank of Captain where he currently serves as the commander of the Administrative Operations Division. 

Captain Immordino majored in Computer Science at Indian River State College and earned an Associate of Arts degree before entering the University of Central Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.  In 2007, he began his career in Law Enforcement as a Police Officer with the City of Port St. Lucie.  In 2010, he came to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office where he continues to proudly serve the citizens of Martin County.
